Millfield School:

 

This school provides a document with links and phone numbers along with suggestions as to how to block social media sites for those seeking to educate themselves.

 

The school's policy goes on to offer support for the person who has been bullied by a cyber attack and affected by a social media policy break for this topic.

The following two links are examples of schools with clear-cut cyberbullying policies:

 

1.Sunshine North Primary School :

The school lays out a plan for primary prevention (education provided to equip students with the knowledge to be proactive while on the Internet.) The school also provides early intervention, intervention, post violation, and evaluation which take the students through the cycle of prevention of an offense to post offense and getting a misbehavior of a student back on target for success.

 

2. Windmere Ranch Middle School:

Action Steps to Respond to Cyber Bullying or Harassment:

·  Save the evidence.  Print the online harassing.

·  Identify the Cyber Bully.

·  Clearly tell the Cyber Bully to stop.

·  Ignore the bully by leaving the online environment     and/or blocking communications.

·  File a complaint with the Internet or cell phone         company.

·  Contact the Cyber Bully’s parents.

·  Contact the school administration.

·  Contact the police.
