My Acceptable Use Policy for my Classroom:

acceptable technology use policy

"An agreement created by a school or other educational organization that describes the risks involved in Internet use; outlines appropriate, safe student behavior on the Internet; asks students if they agree to use the Internet under these conditions; and asks what information about themselves, if any, may be posted on the school's website."(Roblyer & Hughes, 2019, p. 504)

can we say, "awkward?"

Creating an acceptable use policy is vital to a workplace and a school environment to set boundaries for all. As awkward as this video clip was and as funny as it was, it speaks a truth that both as an educator and an employee that there is a fine line we balance with work and play. Our students need clear guidelines to follow in regards to what he or she can and cannot do while on the Internet while at home and at school.
